Whether we consider its roots as a 15th century party game or more recent use as a divination tool, Tarot has always been a topic that sparks debate and strong opinions. A recent resurgence in interest has resulted in the publication of dozens of new decks, decorated with beautiful paintings or images pulled from our favorite pop culture fandoms. The sheer quantity of miniature art available in this format is overwhelming. Here are a few that struck my fancy, but feel free to browse for more in the Divination Section of our online shop. Tarot Médiéval: The Mysteries of the Initiate's Path
"The history of Tarot Médiéval reads like an adventure novel. It was a French Tarot originally written by Francis Rolt-Wheeler and artist Christian Loring but published in the fateful year of 1939. Following the fall of France in June 1940, it seems not to have survived, and few copies of the original remain.
